Questions

When should I set up my eSIM?

You will need Wi-Fi to set up your eSIM, so we recommend that you install and activate your eSIM just before your departure. You can wait until you arrive in the country to activate your eSIM, but please remember that you will need a Wi-Fi connection to perform the installation process.

What happens if I use up my data or exhaust the days of validity?

If you find you need more data than what your eSIM offers, the best option is to top up your eSIM card with the right amount of data for you.

Can I use my SIM card and ESIMA eSIM at the same time?

Yes. Please remember that if you leave your SIM card activated, your network provider may apply data roaming charges to make or receive phone calls, and to send or receive text messages.

Is my phone “unlocked” and able to use eSIMs?

Only unlocked phones are compatible with eSIMs. You should make sure that your phone is unlocked before buying an eSIM from the Esima store.

What should I do if I’ve deleted or lost the QR code for my eSIM?

If you cannot find the QR code or have deleted it by mistake, please get in touch with us by sending an email to [email protected] or via our online chat, and we’ll resend the code to you.
